Enhancement, not correction
Dermal fillers at Skinline, Hyder Nagar, Kukatpally, restore volume, smooth static wrinkles, and enhance facial contours — cheeks, jawline, lips — using hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already produces naturally.
The goal is a face that still looks like you, just with the volume and definition time or genetics took away.
How dermal fillers work
Most modern dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid (HA) — a substance that occurs naturally in your skin and binds water, giving tissue volume and hydration. Injected beneath the skin, HA fillers restore lost volume, smooth static wrinkles (the ones visible even at rest), and can reshape or enhance areas like the cheeks, jawline, chin and lips.
A meaningful safety feature of HA fillers specifically: they can be dissolved with an enzyme (hyaluronidase) if ever needed, which isn’t true of all filler types.
Who should get dermal fillers
- You’re noticing volume loss in the cheeks or temples
- You have static wrinkles — nasolabial folds, marionette lines — visible even when your face is at rest
- You want to enhance or balance lip shape and volume
- You want jawline or chin contouring without surgery
- You want immediate, visible results with minimal downtime
Who should consider alternatives, or wait
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding — fillers are not recommended during either
- Active skin infection or inflammation at the injection site
- Known allergy to filler components
- Autoimmune conditions affecting healing — disclose at consultation
- Blood clotting disorders or anticoagulant medication — increases bruising risk; disclose at consultation
- A history of severe allergic reactions to injectable treatments
If your main concern is expression lines rather than volume or static wrinkles, Botox is typically more appropriate — see our comparison of Botox vs Fillers vs Threads.
The benefits: why choose dermal fillers
Immediate Results
Volume and contour changes are visible right away, unlike treatments that build gradually.
Natural-Looking
Hyaluronic acid integrates with your skin’s existing tissue and hydration.
Reversible
HA fillers can be dissolved if you’re ever unhappy with a result.
Versatile
Used across many facial areas — cheeks, jaw, chin, lips, temples — for different goals.
Minimal Downtime
Most people return to normal activities the same or next day.
What dermal fillers treat
- Cheek and mid-face volume loss
- Nasolabial folds and marionette lines
- Lip enhancement and shape correction
- Jawline and chin contouring
- Temple hollows
For under-eye hollows specifically, see our dedicated Tear Trough Treatment page — it’s a distinct application with its own considerations.
What to expect: the procedure
Topical numbing cream is typically applied — many fillers also contain lidocaine to minimise discomfort during injection. Treatment is delivered via a fine needle or, for some areas, a blunt-tipped cannula. Most areas need one session to achieve the desired result, with results lasting 6–18 months depending on the area treated, the specific filler used, and your individual metabolism.
Preparing for treatment
Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements where medically possible for about a week beforehand, and avoid alcohol the day before, to reduce bruising risk.
Downtime & aftercare
Mild swelling and possible bruising at injection sites are common for a few days to a week. Ice can help manage swelling in the first 24 hours. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and excessive sun or heat exposure for a couple of days after treatment.
What affects the cost of dermal fillers
Cost depends on the number of syringes needed, which varies by area and the degree of correction desired — lip enhancement typically needs less product than full cheek restoration, for instance. Your consultation includes a personalised assessment and quote.
Why Skinline for dermal fillers
Filler results depend heavily on injection depth, technique and product choice for the specific area — done incorrectly, this can mean lumps, asymmetry, or in rare but serious cases, vascular complications.
At Skinline, every filler treatment is administered by dermatologists with 10+ years of experience each, with a full understanding of facial anatomy and access to reversal treatment if it’s ever needed.
